The Wallace Emerson BMX Bike Park has been honored with a new set of BMX ramps thanks to the tireless advocacy of the BMX community and community collaboration. The city of Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation, and TorontoBMX invite the BMX community and the public to a barbeque, ribbon cutting ceremony, Best Trick Competition and BMX Jam on June 9th at the Wallace Emerson Community Centre, 1260 Dufferin St, Toronto. The BMX riders and the community are honoured that Councillor Ana Bailao, Ward 18, Davenport will be in attendance to support this event.
There will be live bands playing all day organized by youth involved with Constable Robert Tajti of 11 Division Toronto Police Service in the Music, Not Mischief program. Two of the confirmed bands are The Coppertones and Tracenine of Cambridge. A band called The Buhlers will headline the event.

The BMX Ramps have now been installed, fencing removed and are available to ride!
